Neil Nakadate Wins the LAS/United Way "Guess the Number of Candy" Contest

Neil Nakadate, University Professor of English, was the winner of the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences / United Way of Story County "Guess the Number of Pieces of Candy" held in conjunction with the recent fundraising drive. Nakadate was presented a basketball autographed by Cyclone coaches Greg McDermott and Bill Fennelly by LAS Dean Mike Whiteford. Other winners in the contest were Gloria Oberender, physics and astronomy; Stacey Poling, biochemistry, biophysics and molecular biology; and Julie Snyder-Yuly, Catt Center for Women and Politics.
