The Purdue Online Writing Lab (OWL)

Posted by Coffey, Dan at April 25. 2008

At the risk of using this space to tell you about something you already know, I'd like to mention the Purdue Online Writing Lab (owl.english.purdue.edu). I came across this website in a review in the April issue of The CyberSkeptic's Guide to Internet Research. The Online Writing Lab (OWL) provides all the resources that one would hope to find in a virtual representation of a writing lab: guides to help with the writing process, "internet literacy", writing in various disciplines, ESL, teaching writing, tutoring writing, literary analysis and criticism, and grammar and mechanics. In all, over 200 guides are housed in this resource. Well worth a look, at least!
