about Phorum
Phorum is the political/educational/social organization for doctoral students in the Rhetoric & Professional Communication program at Iowa State University. The organization has representatives on several departments within the English department, including Graduate Studies and Computer Resources, as well as a representative on the RPC area committee. Members meet to share resources and continue the "institutional knowledge" that more experienced members can offer to the newer students. Periodially during the semester, Phorum also meets socially (bowling, cards, or picnics).
