Erik VossErik Voss is a PhD candidate in the Applied Linguistics and Technology program.
Erik Voss is currently a PhD candidate in applied linguistics and technology at Iowa State University and holds a master's degree in Teaching Swedish as a Second Language from Uppsala University in Sweden and an Advanced Graduate Certificate in Second Language Studies from the University of Hawaii at Manoa. Erik works as assessment coordinator for the Intensive English and Orientation Program (IEOP) at ISU. In addition to work on campus, Erik has participated as an instructor for a summer English language program in China for 3 years and conference chair for the Chinese and American teachers' conference and workshop for two years. Erik is currently the webmaster for the International Language Testing Association (ILTA), secretary of the Midwest Association of Language Testers (MwALT) and is on the graduate student organizing committee for the Second Language Research Forum (SLRF) 2011. His research interests include CALL, multimedia for language learning and testing, and language testing and technology.
