Jennifer Veltsos

Ph.D. Student

I am a fourth year PhD student in the Rhetoric and Professional Communication program. In May 2007 I passed my comprehensive exam and began working on my prospectus for a dissertation study about the rhetoric of corporate visual identity programs and how they influence an organization's ethos. I hope to defend the dissertation in 2008.

I am also teaching an online course in business communication for the technical communication program at Minnesota State University, Mankato. Prior to my studies at ISU, I was an instructor and internship coordinator at MSU in the computer and information sciences department. I have also worked as a marketing writer for the Louisiana state tourism office and as a community relations manager for Barnes and Noble Booksellers.
