Faculty Forum

The Faculty Development Committee, with help from CELT, will sponsor a Friday Forum series this academic year. The first forum, to be held in Ross 212 at noon on Friday, October 28, will feature Dan Douglas and Volker Hegelheimer discussing their large dollar grant from Educational Testing Service: "Strategies and Use of Knowledge in Performing New TOEFL Listening Tasks." We'll supply pizza and pop, and Dan and Volker will tell us about how they got the grant, what they've done so far, and what outcomes they look forward to. Here's a chance to think about how grant-supported research can work in our department. Please join us!
