Faculty Retreat

We are planning a faculty retreat for Friday, August 26, from 9:00 to 2:00 in the Pioneer Room of the Memorial Union. August 26 is the Friday of the first week of classes, so if you teach that day, please consider an alternative activity for your students so that you can participate in the retreat. We'll probably start that day by reviewing issues generated at last year's retreat and assessing what we've done to address them. We'll likely discuss our department structure and how well it enables us to get our work done as well as discuss how that work dovetails with the new ISU Strategic Plan (given that the ISU Strategic Plan will influence resource decisions by the College, Provost Office, etc.)
