Bohemian Poetry Slam

The Bohemian Poetry Slam featuring ISU's own Jim Coppoc Tuesday, September 6. 7:30 signup, 8:00 slam The Boheme Bistro 2900 West Street Ames $3-$5 suggested donation at the door For the Poets: Bring three poems of your own composition--any form, any style. Each poem must take fewer then three minutes to perform. No props, no costumes, no musical accompaniment. For the Rest of You: Show up before eight. Get a good seat. Be ready for a poetry show unlike anything you've seen before (unless, of course, you've seen a slam already). Bonus Attraction: September 6 also happens to be Jim Coppoc's 30th birthday, and the first hometown reading on his book tour. None of you want to miss this party!
