Two Alumni Featured in Visions Magazine
The Summer 2008 issue of Visions magazine interviews Omar and Ramsey Tesdell, two alumni of the BS in Technical Communication program.
Two alumni of the English Department's BS in Technical Communication, brothers Omar and Ramsey Tesdell, were featured as the cover story of the the Summer 2008 issue of the ISU Alumni Association's magazine Visions. Titled "A Time for Peace," the story (an interview with the two brothers) cites their commitment to the community and their desire to "create, share, and apply knowledge to make Iowa and the world a better place."
Currently, both brothers are working on advanced degrees. Ramsey is pursuing an MS in Technical Communication and an MA in Middle East studies at the University of Washington in Seattle. Omar just finished his second year at the University of Minnesota, working toward a PhD in Geography and Sustainable Agriculture.
