Christopher Toth, who graduated with a PhD in 2009, has just won the 2010 Outstanding Doctoral Dissertation Award for best dissertation in Business Communication from the Association for Business Communication. The organization gives one dissertation award a year to recognize "the top dissertation in the field, based on significance to scholarship, research, and/or pedagogy of business communication." He will receive his award at the national conference at Chicago in October.
