Geoff Sauer Receives 2008 APEX Award of Excellence

APEX

This week Geoffrey Sauer received a 2008 APEX Award of Excellence for his work on the EServer Technical Communication Library.

The TC Library is the largest index of writings available online in the fields of technical, scientific and professional communication. It is an open index—a free database, available to scholars, libraries and to the public free of charge. Sauer is the founder and director of the site, which today has a seven-person editorial board and an eight-person advisory board.

APEX is the Annual Awards for Publication Excellence Competition. It is open to communicators in corporate, nonprofit and independent settings. This year was the 20th annual APEX. APEX awards are based on excellence in graphic design, editorial content and the success of the entry--in the opinion of the judges--in achieving overall communications effectiveness and excellence.

A list of all winners of this year's competition can be found online at http://www.apexawards.com/announcingthewinners_2008.htm.
