The graphic novel adaptation of Benjamin Percy's story "Refresh, Refresh"-- co-authored by James Ponsoldt and illustrated by Eisner-nominated artist Danica Novgorodoff--is now out with First Second Books, a division of Macmillan.

About the Authors
Originally from Louisville, Kentucky, Danica Novgorodoffis a writer, painter, photographer, and comics artist who now lives in New York City where she works as a graphic designer for First Second Books. She has also worked as a horse trainer in Virginia, an assistant to photographer Sally Mann, and an artist review writer for galleries in Chelsea and SoHo. In 2006 she won the Isotope Award for her mini-comic, A Late Freeze, which was later nominated for an Eisner award. Her last book was the graphic novel Slow Storm, which was a New York Magazine Best Graphic Novel of 2008.
Benjamin Percy was raised in the high desert of Central Oregon. He is the author of a novel, The Wilding (Graywolf, 2009), and two books of stories, Refresh, Refresh (Graywolf, 2007) and The Language of Elk (Carnegie Mellon, 2006). His fiction and nonfiction have been read on National Public Radio, performed at Symphony Space, and published by Esquire, Men’s Journal, the Paris Review, the Chicago Tribune, Glimmer Train, and Best American Short Stories. His honors include a Whiting Award, the Plimpton Prize and a Pushcart Prize. His work has been translated into French (Albin Michel), Italian (Random House Italy) and German (Random House Germany), as well as published in the UK (Jonathan Cape -- Random House UK).
James Ponsoldt is a writer and director. His first feature film, Off the Black, premiered at Sundance in 2006.
