Geetha Iyer and Christiana Langenberg Honored by Gulf Coast Journal

Gulf Coast: A Journal of Literature and Fine Art has announced the results of its 2012 Fiction and Nonfiction Awards. Two ISU writers have received honors.

Geetha Iyer and Christiana Langenberg Honored by Gulf Coast Journal


Geetha Iyer is the recipient of the 2012 Gulf Coast Fiction Award for her short story, "The Glass-World Builder."  The story, selected by guest judge Victor LaValle, will be published in Gulf Coast.   

 

Christiana Langenberg received an honorable mention in the Gulf Coast Nonfiction Award for her essay, "Foiled."  Congratulations!
