Project Yao (覞工程) Website Launched

Project Yao, a bi-national bibliographic database of pre-1920 American literature translations into Chinese, launched this week.

Wednesday, August 26th, marked the launch of the Project Yao website at http://yao.eserver.org/. This is a new, free, publicly accessible, permanent database of pre-1920 American literature translations into Chinese. It is a bi-national public scholarship project from the English Departments at Arizona State University and Iowa State University and the American Studies Department at Sichuan University. The site currently indexes over 1,200 works published since 1990, with more being added to the index daily.
