Tina Coffelt Co-authors Article on Crisis Comunication

The October issue of Qualitative Research Reports in Communication contains an article on crisis communication co-authored by Tina Coffelt.  This study examined the ways victims of the 2009 Western Kentucky ice storm interacted when all other mediated forms of communication were disabled.  These victims used positive terms to describe the relief efforts and recovery period and recalled positive interpersonal communication with family members, friends, and community members.  Access to the article can be found at http://www.tandfonline.com/doi/abs/10.1080/17459435.2012.719209
