How to Subscribe

1. Compose a new email to majordomo@iastate.edu
2. The subject of the email doesn't matter, so you can leave it blank
3. In the body of the email, write the following text:

   subscribe amesblab
   end

4. Send the email
5. A few minutes later, you should receive a confirmation email in your inbox. You'll need to follow the instructions in the email to confirm your subscription to the email list.
6. If everything worked the way it was supposed to, you should receive a
   welcome message in your inbox.

How to Unsubscribe

1. Compose a new email to majordomo@iastate.edu
2. The subject of the email doesn't matter, so you can leave it blank
3. In the body of the email, write the following text:

   unsubscribe amesblab
   end

4. Send the email
5. A few minutes later, you should receive a confirmation email in your
   inbox. You'll need to follow the instructions in the email to confirm your
   unsubscribe request.
6. If everything worked the way it was supposed to, you should no longer
   receive emails from the amesblab email list.
