Rhetoric of Science & Technology Reading Group

Known as "AmesBlab," a pun on the nearby Department of Energy research lab, the Rhetoric of Science & Technology reading group meets periodically throughout the semester to discuss articles and book chapters on a variety of topics across multiple disciplines.  To receive announcements about our activities, sign up with the amesblab listserv.

Come join us for the next meeting!

Next Meeting - Monday, 21 September, 12:10, Ross 215

This year, we will largely be focusing on the discourse of space & time.  For our first session, we'll talk about:

Jordynn Jack, "Chronotopes:  Forms of Time in Rhetorical Argument," College English 69 (2006): 52-73.

Email me (goodwin@iastate.edu) if you need a copy.  Starting in October, we'll work our way through Lefebvre's Production of Space, so you may want to get a copy.
