Applying to the Program
An overview of how to apply to the RCPC MA program, including links to forms and other information.
The MA program in RCPC invites applications from individuals with prior academic and professional work outside of English. Applicants to the program must meet the following requirements:
- a bachelor's degree from a United States college or university, or the equivalent from a foreign institution
- satisfactory completion of the Graduate Record Examination (GRE), as determined by the English Department Graduate Studies Committee
- for nonnative speakers of English, a Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) score of 100 IBT/250 CBT/600 PBT or higher, a score of 25 IBT Writing or 5.0 CBT Essay Rating or higher, and an audio/video/CD demonstrating the applicant's spoken-English proficiency.
