- B.A. in Communication Studies
- Students majoring in Communication Studies will learn about the theories, concepts and practices of human communication.
- B.A. in English, Emphasis in English Education
- The English Education Program at Iowa State University gives undergraduate students the opportunity to major in English, earn a B. A. degree from the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, qualify for a secondary (grades 7-12) teaching license from the Iowa Department of Education, and position themselves to earn extra teaching endorsements in Reading, English as a Second Language, or other disciplines.
- B.A. in English, Emphasis in Literary Studies
- This option is designed to give students a broad knowledge of creative writing, literature, and related issues.
- B.A. in English, Emphasis in Rhetorical Studies
- Majors will gain extensive experience with rhetoric and professional communication by choosing from among advanced courses.

- Students in Interpersonal and Rhetorical Communication develop an understanding of communication theories, principles, and applications.
