We adopted these procedures because of new post tenure policies at the university level although they have not yet been incorporated into the faculty handbook.
Department of English Faculty Handbook

The Department of English Faculty Handbook (DEFH) describes the organization, governance, and basic policies and operating procedures of the ISU English Department. DEFH is a living document that is subject to ongoing revision, as new policies and procedures are developed and approved by the faculty. The Administrative Committee is responsible for overseeing periodic revisions to the entire document. As mandated by University policy, DEFH will be posted on the Department of English website so that it is easily accessible to all English Department staff.
