Pedagogy: Learning Style Inventory

Increasing students' self-awareness of their learning style at the beginning of the course can help them improve their work in the course.

The learning styles inventory is introduced by a discussion of seven different ways of learning. Taking the inventory itself is a relatively short in-class or at home activity. It can be followed by discussing or writing about ways in which a person can productively use the information from the completed inventory: here.
