Checking Email from the Classrooms

Because most computer classrooms on campus do not have dedicated email applciations like Outlook or Eudora, most students use ISU's WebMail program to access their mail from any computer with a Web browser. To use Webmail to read, write, and store emails, follow these directions:

  1. Go to https://webmail.iastate.edu
  2. Login using your ISU NetID and password.

Note: In Mac labs, it is best to use Netscape for sending attachments.

Re-directing ISU Email to Another Account

If use a non-Iowa State account for most email, youi can have mail from your Iowa State account forwarded to this primary account.

  1. Go to Acropolis at https://asw.iastate.edu
  2. Login using netID and password.
  3. Select Manage User [username].
  4. Select View/Edit your e-mail delivery.

Read and follow simple instructions to redirect your email. You may also use this same procedure to revert back to your ISU email account.

Creating an Email List
