English Education 1993
I live in Cedar Falls, Iowa, and I teach English to 8th and 9th graders at Holmes Junior High School there. I earned my M.A.E. in Middle Level Education at the University of Northern Iowa in 1997. A long-time NCTE member, I am currently serving as the President of the Iowa Council of Teachers of English for the year 2016, as well as a member of the editorial board for NCTE’s publication Voices in the Middle.
