Bio
Yasin Karatay (M.A., Bilkent University; Ph.D. Iowa State University) is a postdoc research associate in the English Department at Iowa State University. He worked as an EFL instructor and assistant director at Duzce University and as a teaching and research assistant at ISU. He taught a variety of courses, including academic writing and technical English for both undergraduate and graduate students. He regularly presents his work at local and international conferences, including MwALT, AAAL, LTRC, LARC, IATEFL and EuroCALL. He has also published on computer-assisted language testing, online teacher training, and English for Specific Purposes as book chapters and articles in journals such as CALICO Journal, Language Learning and Technology, and ReCALL.
