Bio
Emmanuel Alex Boateng Adjei is a graduate student in Rhetoric Composition and Professional Communication, M.A., at Iowa State University. His academic interests include professional communication, rhetoric, writing studies, communication design, and intercultural communication, particularly in relation to training, education, and organizational development.
Before joining Iowa State, Alex worked in recruitment, training, and program facilitation roles focused on participant development and professional preparation. His experiences in mentoring, instructional support, and communication-centered training programs inspired his interest in how rhetoric and professional communication shape learning, collaboration, and workplace effectiveness.
Through his studies, Alex hopes to explore how communication practices can improve training design, professional development, and community engagement across educational and organizational settings.
