LC ENGL Links Workshop #2

Lunch will be provided. This workshop’s topic is successful adaptation of ENGL 150 course materials for LCs.

​Longtime ENGL links instructors, Natalie Meyer and Kristin Stoner will present their approaches to developing successful ENGL 150 links. Natalie and Kristin have 15+ years of LC ENGL links experience between them. There will be plenty of time for questions and conversation, as well.

This workshop is open to all faculty and GTAs interested in ENGL links.

Our October and November workshops and topics:

  • Wed. 10/26, 1:10-2 in Ross 212: Adapting ENGL 250 course materials for LCs + building relationships with LC advisors
  • Wed. 11/30, 1:10-2 in Ross 212: Adapting AdvComm course materials for LCs

English Links as Departmental Service 

As of this semester, teaching a learning community English link will count toward the departmental service component of your PRS. Contributing to our inaugural workshop series as a presenter, activity facilitator, etc. will also count toward the departmental service component of your PRS. Workshop series attendance can be included on your CV and noted in your annual review.
