Gulbahar Beckett publishes new book

Professor Gulbahar Beckett, has published new book. A Paradigm Shift for Language Education: Project-Based Learning and Teaching examines the growing importance of project-based learning and teaching (PBLT) in language education, highlighting its significance and necessity.

Drawing on over 100 years of research and scholarly literature, it delves into the theoretical and historical foundations of PBLT, emphasizing its application as a valuable approach in second language pedagogy and research. The book also incorporates qualitative classroom research from Canada, addressing the challenges of effectively integrating PBLT into existing curricula while monitoring content acquisition, cognitive and social skill development, and language learning outcomes.
