Volker Hegelheimer, Department Chair, invites new graduate students to a welcome picnic event at the Ames Brookside Park Maple Shelter on Tuesday evening , August 17, 2021 from 5:00-8:00pm. Food, drinks, table service, etc. will be provided by the department. We want to give all of our new graduate students a chance to meet each other, faculty, and staff assistants in person at this outside event. Family members are also welcome. We hope many of you will be able to attend!
