Bio
April Tan is a Ph.D. student co-majoring in Applied Linguistics and Technology and Human-Computer Interaction. She holds an M.A. in TESL/Applied Linguistics from Iowa State University and a B.A. in Creative Advertising and Graphic Design from Drake University. Her research interests include the development of educational applications, emerging technologies like VR and AI, and UX research. She currently works at the Center for Communication Excellence (CCE) as a UX Graduate Assistant.
