Bio

Rae Larrinaga is an MFA candidate in Creative Writing and Environment from Florida. Rae earned their bachelor’s degree in Medicine, Health, and Society, from Vanderbilt University, and uses their studies in mental health and spirituality in their current work. Rae is also inspired by earth sciences, astronomy, anthropology, and their extensive travels across the US and in Europe.

Rae writes fiction, poetry, and essays. They live and write about the environment, place, family, love, gender, sexuality, justice, injustice, pain, and more. An excerpt of their story Pale Blue Dot is set to be published in this summer’s issue of The Incandescent Review.
