Join us for “Science with Cyclones”
Science with Cyclones is inspired by a famous program at The Alan Alda Center for Communicating Science at Stony Brook University–called the Flame Challenge–in which scientists craft engaging explanations of everyday, yet complex, scientific concepts that can draw in a young audience (for example, explaining what a flame is). Similarly, Science with Cyclones has science students from Iowa State University explaining concepts like ‘Decomposer Demolition,’ ‘why do animals hibernate,’ and ‘how does your brain work’ with interactive displays to explore.
