Bio

Eleanor Howle (she/they) is a multidisciplinary artist, screenwriter, and novelist from Houston, Texas. She is currently working on a novel titled ‘Blue Planets Always Fall Because of You’ which combines prose with collages, comics, and paintings to tell the story of a trans woman finding community and rediscovering herself through art. Her work has appeared in A Midwestern Review, including short stories, poems, and scripts, and she herself has served as an editor for the magazine. However, most of Ellie’s writing is non-fiction, as she loves to journal and find inspiration in documenting and reflecting on her daily life.

Her work in sustainability focuses around growing produce for herself and her community. Ellie values forming new connections to people and natural places through action and volunteering. She loves being by water and in the sun with a sketchbook and cooking dinner for all her friends. When the sun goes down, she spends the night walking and stargazing (and probably thinking about waves and particle physics).
