Bio
Hwee Jean (Cindy) Lim is a Ph.D. student in Applied Linguistics and Technology, co-majoring in Human-Computer Interaction. She is currently an instructor for a Global Online Course, Teaching English Academic Writing to Speakers of Other Languages, and a member of the Online Learning Team (OLT). Her teaching experience includes ISUComm Foundation Courses, undergraduate courses in TESL and Educational Technology in Malaysia, as well as high school ESL. She holds a master’s degree in Applied Linguistics and a B.A. (Hons.) in English Language, both from universities in Malaysia. Her research focuses on the intersection of language learning and technology, specifically Computer-Assisted Language Learning (CALL) and the integration of digital tools in various aspects of language education, including instruction and evaluation practices.
