Bio
Jeanne Beck is a Ph.D. candidate in the Applied Linguistics and Technology Program at Iowa State University and an elementary school multilingual learner (ML) teacher/coordinator in Iowa, USA. She has taught in South Korea, Japan, and online to teachers worldwide through the US Department of State’s OPEN Program. Her teaching experience spans kindergarteners to graduate students and a diverse array of English, technology, and teacher professional development courses. Her main interests include language assessments for young learners, language program evaluation, teacher professional development, writing pedagogy, and instructional design. She currently serves as editor for the MIDTESOL Journal, and her work has been published in Assessing Writing, CALICO Journal, Language Assessment Quarterly, and TESL-EJ.
