Bio
Liam H. Flake is a poet and journalist from Fort Collins, Colorado. A graduate of U.W. – Eau Claire with degrees in English and Journalism, he was originally born in Kansas and grew up in the foothills of the Rockies. Both of these locations lend heavy influence in his writing, and much of his work explores urban and suburban development, natural areas, and the intersection of the two. His work aims to find the sublime in the juxtaposition between environmental grandeur like that of the Rocky Mountains or Great Plains and more modern landscapes like those that occupy much of the Midwest. His work has previously been in Meniscus and Gypsophilia.
