Bio
Marin Wadsworth is pursuing an MA in Rhetoric, Composition, and Professional Communication at Iowa State University, where she is a Graduate Teaching Assistant. In 2025, she was awarded the Freda Hunckle Fellowship.
Marin’s research interests lie at the intersection of Linguistic Anthropology and Rhetoric and Composition. She investigates how communities harness symbols to communicate and reify cultural values, beliefs, identity, and membership.
Previously, Marin earned an MA in Anthropology with a focus in Linguistic Anthropology and holds a BA in Linguistics and French.
