Bio

Maksim “Max” Prikazchikov is a Ph.D. student in the Applied Linguistics and Technology program. In 2020, he graduated from Bashkir State Pedagogical University in Ufa, Russia, with a Bachelor’s degree in Language Teaching with English as his 1st and German as his 2nd major. In 2022 he received Fulbright scholarship and went to Iowa State University to study in the Master’s program in TESL/Applied Linguistics, which he finished in 2024. He then decided to proceed with his graduate education in the Ph.D. ALT program here at ISU.

Max is primarily interested in language pedagogy, phonetics, and accents and dialects.
