Bio
Susmita Roy Ushna is an MA student in Rhetoric, Composition, and Professional Communication at Iowa State University. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English, earned from the Department of English and Humanities at the University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh.
Before joining Iowa State University, Susmita worked as a Content Executive at an e-learning platform, where she specialized in developing educational content and managing digital communications. Her academic and research interests include gender dynamics in workplace communication, feminist rhetoric, and intercultural writing practices.
Beyond her academic pursuits, Susmita enjoys music, painting, and dancing. She is also passionate about writing poetry.
