Bio
Tori Evans is a first year CWE MFA student from Dallas, Tx. She holds a BA in Philosophy from Loyola University of Chicago, where she was heavily involved in sustainability studies and community organization. Her writing explores the emotions felt in a society of unsustainable practices, while inquiring about the structural contents of the sustainable ideal. She loves spending time outdoors, watering plants, and dancing. All of these activities inspire her writing and create a means of connection to her environment. She hopes to express this environmental connection through a wider range of genres during the CWE program.
