Pearl Hogrefe Fellowship in Creative WritingInformation about the Pearl Hogrefe Fellowship, awarded each year by the advisory committee of the Pearl Hogrefe fund, to graduate students interested in studying creative writing at Iowa State University. Applicants to the Hogrefe Fellowship may major in any discipline at Iowa State University. However, the Fellowship is designed for students interested in studying creative writing in the MFA Program in Creative Writing and Environment. Hogrefe Fellows are required to maintain full-time graduate status and take a minimum of six semester credits of graduate work in Creative Writing during the fellowship year. Fellowship support is contingent upon the student maintaining satisfactory grades. Application Deadline: January 5

Application ProcessTo be considered for the Pearl Hogrefe Fellowship in Creative Writing, you must submit a Hogrefe Fellowship Application Form with your cover letter for admission by January 5.
