Bio
Joshua Papa Amofa is a Master’s student in English Language and Literature Program at Iowa State University. He holds an Bachelor’s Degree in Arts Education in English Language and Literature. His research interests include Gender theories, American Literature in the 21st century and Teacher Pedagogy and with a focus in second language writing and the use of automated writing evaluation systems for assessing and improving students’ academic writing abilities. Prior to joining ISU, he worked as a teaching assistant in an academic writing course at University of Cape Coast in Ghana at the Department of English and also taught English to Undergraduate students.
