Shuvodip Biswas Turja is a student at Iowa State University pursuing his MA in English, specializing in literature. Previously, he completed his undergraduate study at Shahjalal University of Science and Technology, majoring in English. Professionally, he has been a Teacher in a respected school, as well as a feature writer and a film reviewer in The Financial Express Bangladesh.
Being a Bangladeshi, Turja is an admirer of South-Asian works of literature, especially Bengali literature. The modernist lens of literature is also a sector of his interest. By passion, he identifies himself as a musician and also a lyricist. Apart from lyrics, he is also into writing short stories and poetries. Turja intends to contribute significantly to the global literary discourse by highlighting the shades of South Asian Literature. Besides, he also desires to connect films with the study of literature more intensely through his research and academic journey.
