Bio
Kat Jackson is a fiction writer originally from Southwest Wyoming. She lived in Western Montana while earning a BA in English and an MA in Environmental Philosophy from the University of Montana. With a background in nonprofit work and social services, her writing explores the intersections of ecology, identity, and the uncanny. Kat draws inspiration from multi-species theorists, queer ecology, and the idea that the horror genre, at its most potent, can be an act of hope and resilience. She lives with her two cats, Louisa and Dorothy, and often finds herself daydreaming about the Wind River Range.
