Bio
Klara Nazmutdinova is a PhD student in Applied Linguistics and Technology Program at Iowa State University. She holds two Master’s Degrees: one from Uzbekistan State World Languages University (UzSWLU) and also MA in TESOL from Aston University, UK. Prior to joining ISU, she worked as a University Instructor at UzSWLU and also taught various courses at MA TESOL Program at Webster University in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. She has presented at various International conferences such as TESOL Arabia in 2022 (Dubai, UAE) and AsiaTEFL in 2025 (Hong Kong, China). Her research interests include the use of technology in developing Sociolinguistic and Pragmatic competence in a second/foreign language, and the use of technology in EL Teacher preparation and in ELT Materials design.
