Bio
Leah Nath is a graduate student in ISU’s Creative Writing and the Environment MFA program. She holds a Bachelor of Arts from Gettysburg College in Environmental Studies with a Writing Minor, where she published in the school’s literary and news magazines, The Mercury and The Gettysburgian. Leah’s creative writing can also be found in Unearthed, Flagship, and Gettysburg College’s repository, The Cupola. Her research interests focus on multispecies coexistence philosophy and she loves to write poetry examining the human experience as a self-aware animal. She hopes to continue combining her love for fieldwork with her passion for environmental protection by writing from a place of hopeful optimism.
