Bio
Aubrey Roemmich is a Graduate Teaching Assistant and is pursuing an MA in literature at Iowa State University. She was the recipient of the Freda Huncke Fellowship in 2024. Her research interests include 20th and 21st century American literature with an emphasis on women and gender studies. Aubrey also has a special interest in archival work concerning women’s diaries and posthumous censorship and editing of women’s manuscripts, especially by male partners or family members.
Aubrey graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of North Dakota with a BA in English in December of 2023. In her free time, she enjoys taking care of her house plants, crocheting, and talking about Sylvia Plath.
