Bio
Chloe Scheve (she/her) is a nonfiction writer from Salt Lake City, Utah. She holds a BS in Literature and a minor in Environmental Studies from Utah State University, where she worked as Managing Editor for Sink Hollow Literary Magazine and a curator for an exhibit on magic, astrology, and Shakespeare. Because she believes that developing intimacy with the natural world is only accomplished by creating an intimacy with language, her writing strives to bear witness to loss, grief, and resilience through a blend of research and speculation. When she’s not reading or writing, you’ll find her listening to ghost stories, playing Stardew Valley, and learning to identify birds.
