Duong Nguyen is a PhD student in the Applied Linguistics and Technology program at Iowa State University. Duong holds an MA in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages at Michigan State University and a BA in Teaching English as a Foreign Language at Ho Chi Minh City University of Education in Vietnam. Before coming to the US under Fulbright Student Program (AY21-23), Duong taught English as a foreign language for different levels of students at a gifted high school for four years and at a bilingual middle school for one year. Her research interests include Corpus Linguistics, Data-Driven Learning, Second Language Writing, CALL, and Language Assessment.
