Bio
Saime Esma Masca is a Ph.D. student in the Applied Linguistics and Technology program at Iowa State University. She holds a B.A. in English Language Teaching from Middle East Technical University (METU), Turkey. Following her graduation, she was selected as a Fulbright Foreign Language Teaching Assistant (FLTA) and taught Turkish language and culture at the University of Oregon. She also earned her M.A. in TESL from Iowa State University. Her work has been presented at leading conferences, including the American Association for Applied Linguistics (AAAL). Her primary research interests include technology-enhanced language learning, the integration of artificial intelligence in language education, and second language acquisition.
