Bio
Hwee Jean (Cindy) Lim is a Ph.D. student in Applied Linguistics and Technology, co-majoring in Human-Computer Interaction. Her teaching and instructional support experience at ISU includes ISUComm Foundation Courses, the English Department’s Online Learning Team, and a Global Online Course through the U.S. Department of State’s OPEN program. Before her doctoral studies, she taught TESL and educational technology courses at the university level. Her research explores the role of generative AI in academic writing processes, and her interests also include computer-assisted language learning, writing pedagogy, project-based language learning, and instructional design.
